What is the content of the course of studies?

The master’s degree in kinesiology – focus on health research as a Master of Arts degree (MA in Kinesiology – focus on health research) is a theory-based course, which teaches advanced knowledge, skills and methods on the subject of kinesiology with a focus on health research using project and research-oriented studies as the basis, so that students with this MA can follow a scientific professional activity or occupation on a scientific basis. The course can be continued academically as part of a PhD. Specifically, this includes the following objectives: The course provides current knowledge of the subject and provides training in subject-specific methods. Students gain the ability to deal with scientific methods and insights independently and critically assess and develop the fundamentals of their own subject through project-oriented work. They learn how to work on health problems from a kinesiological perspective and consider scientific and educational, social and cultural studies perspectives.
