The course is divided into basic scientific education (first to third semesters), general and inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, bioinformatics, developmental physiology, genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, organic chemistry and physical chemistry. There is specialist consolidation (fourth to sixth semesters), which teaches knowledge about molecular medicine, structural biochemistry and cell biology. Multidisciplinary elective subjects are also offered. Acquired knowledge is put into practice with a project study and an internship.
Medical Research
- General higher education entrance qualification (Hochschulreife), advanced technical college certificate (Fachhochschulreife).
The 50% practical content requires a certain physical capability. A good command of English is useful (but not mandatory).
