Analysis of our website with Matomo

We use the web analysis service Matomo for our website. Matomo is an open source software for website optimisation that uses cookies to anonymously evaluate the access of website visitors. The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before storage. No further processing of personal data therefore takes place when Matomo is used. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this offer is not used for personal evaluation or profiling and is also not passed on to third parties. This data processing is carried out to protect our legitimate interests in range measurement and statistical analysis of the use of our website. The processing is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. This processing serves the purpose of optimising our offer and thereby avoiding the processing of personal data as far as possible.

We have commissioned external technical service providers with the data processing using Matomo, from whom the data is received. These service providers only process the data according to explicit instructions and are contractually obliged to guarantee sufficient technical and organisational measures for data protection.

You can object to the data processing as a whole at any time. To do so, you can use a browser extension that blocks advertising content and tracking services or prevent the storage of cookies via the browser settings. You can also object to the processing of data by Matomo by clicking on “Cookie settings”. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser. As a result, Matomo will not collect any session data. If you delete the cookies in your internet browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted.
