4. Plugins and Tools
Conferences with zoom
In order to conduct telephone conferences, online meetings, video conferences and/or webinars we use the tool “zoom”. “zoom” is offered by Zoom Video Communications Inc, 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113, USA. When using “zoom”, various types of data are processed. The scope of the data also depends on the information you provide before or when participating in an “online meeting”.
In the context of a zoom meeting, personal data may also be accessible to us as the organizer and to the other participants. This depends on how and with what activities you participate in the meeting. It is also possible that your questions or comments are visible to us as organiser and/or other participants, or that you yourself are visible and/or your voice is audible. Please refer to the respective instructions in this context. By participating in a webinar or a “zoom” meeting, you agree that the meeting or webinar may be recorded by us and used within the scope of the purpose of the respective event. The possibility of software-based “attention monitoring” (“attention tracking”) that exists in “online meeting” tools such as “zoom” is deactivated.
Insofar as we conduct the meetings within the scope of contractual relationships, the legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. In addition, we use “zoom” in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f as part of our legitimate interest in modern and efficient communication with customers, interested parties and other users.
Further information can be found in the privacy statement of zoom as well as the special regulations within the scope of the DSGVO/GDPR (https://zoom.us/de-de/gdpr.html).
We have concluded an order processing agreement with the provider of “zoom” which complies with the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR. An adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by the conclusion of the so-called EU standard contractual clauses.
