The medical-technical radiology assistance works in an environment of high-tech medicine. It perform radiological examination procedures on a doctor’s instructions in order to detect and record diseases and injuries in the human body. Biological-technical assistants can be employed in very different areas. They monitor the test procedures, document the results and evaluate them. From planning to execution, BTAs are proficient in all analytical procedures used to answer biological questions.

WHERE CAN I WORK?

After completing the training, it is possible to work in all laboratory areas. BTAs can, for example, research diseases in university research laboratories or test the quality of drinking water in water supply. BTAs are also needed at the Hygiene Institute or in the further development of, for example, corona tests. What is the content of the course of studies?

The dentistry course is theoretical, practical and scientific in nature and leads to the profession of dentist.

In the five-semester preclinical stage of the course, basic scientific disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics right up to the dental preliminary examination, the basic medical subjects of anatomy, biochemistry, physiology and preclinical prosthodontics and terminology are taught.
